INDIANAPOLIS — (November 7, 2024) The Renaissance Foundation, established by Renaissance Life and Health Group in 2013, is setting a new strategic direction to reflect a broader scope. While the foundation remains dedicated to its core mission of enhancing the health and wellness of individuals and families in our communities, it is unveiling a refreshed vision that aligns with its objectives and asset allocation strategy.
The motivation behind this change comes as the organization recognizes the growing need to address broader social determinants of health and empower communities through innovative health solutions. This updated vision reflects a stronger commitment to addressing disparities in care and fostering equitable health outcomes for all.
Supporting Community Health and Wellbeing With Targeted Donations
“We are at a pivotal moment where our company’s growth and evolution call for a foundation strategy that aligns with our wider corporate direction,” said Diana Steinhoff, LMHC, President and CEO of Renaissance. “Through our expanded grant-making initiatives and employee donation matching program, we aim to amplify our impact by supporting community-driven efforts and inspiring greater employee participation in charitable causes.”
“Our vision is to foster a world where compassion and health go hand in hand, ensuring that every individual – regardless of their background, income or location – receives the care they deserve,” said Steinhoff. “We are dedicated to being a leader in the insurance sector, championing innovative solutions that empower individuals and uphold social justice. By advocating for well-being of the communities we serve, we strive to create a future where health and security are within everyone’s reach.”
In pursuit of this vision, the foundation will continue to partner with organizations that share its
mission while also expanding its efforts through enhanced grant programs and increased
employee engagement in philanthropy.
