Renaissance, a leading provider of customizable dental and vision insurance plans, has announced that one of its top executives will be a speaker at a major conference focused on healthcare consumerism on June 23. The Institute for HealthCare Consumerism (IHC) selected Thomas Dimmer, vice president of business development, individual market and exchanges, to share his wealth of knowledge on trends in voluntary benefits.
During the IHC Forum, healthcare industry leaders will discuss current insights and innovations surrounding continuous health, wellness and benefits. Dimmer will showcase the company’s expertise on employer trends in voluntary benefits and how companies are utilizing private exchanges to the benefit of their employees.
“As the healthcare consumerism industry continues to shift, it becomes even more important to look at the trends and innovations that will directly benefit our consumers, ” said Dimmer. “We must find solutions in the private exchange and discuss how offering more choices for employers and employees may help the healthcare marketplace become more successful and efficient.” Renaissance has been at the forefront of insurance exchanges since its inception, and sells group and individual policies in all 50 states. During the conference, Dimmer will also explain how taking risks in the changing insurance landscape has led to more partnerships with the nation’s largest private exchanges, including Towers Watson’s OneExchange, Aon’s Retiree Health Exchange, and Maxwell Health.
