Early Ortho Max Extender

Early Ortho Max Extender may help your clients stretch their orthodontic maximum benefits even further.

How it Works:

Add the Early Ortho Max Extender and any services performed in the dental office related to “Early Orthodontic” treatment may be counted toward your Annual Maximum, rather than your Orthodontic Maximum. Enrollees will then have more money to put towards their Orthodontic Maximum when those treatments are needed.

Example

Let’s say a plan has a $1,500 Orthodontic Maximum. If a member were to receive an eligible early orthodontic service that costs $350, it would typically reduce the maximum available for future, more comprehensive orthodontic treatment.

$1,500 – $350 = $1,150 Remaining

If these services counted toward a $1,500 Orthodontic Maximum, only $1,150 would remain. However, the Early Ortho Max Extender means the full $1,500 is still available!

It would be like your orthodontic maximum had been $1,850!

Enrollees will be able to take advantage of a variety of early orthodontic services without compromising their Orthodontic Maximum
